Bio

Cam's work focuses on realism in heavy body acrylics, along with ceramics and pyrography often centered around a portraiture style. He creates pieces that pull people in and make them want to spend time with them, an approach that carries into his community based work as well. Cam’s early life took him from Germany to different places through his military upbringing, eventually leading him to Norfolk, Virginia. Currently he is a Fine Arts major graduating May 2026 and served as a VADC gallery work study student, he has also presented his work to the TCC’s Board, and has exhibited in the Where We Meet exhibition at Virginia MOCA. As an active community artist, his public art is starting to spread across Hampton Roads including murals in Norfolk’s NEON District, Virginia Beach’s ViBe District, Assisting in restoring a basketball court project at Seatack Park, and also contributing to community projects like an Earth Day mural with Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation.

I am a Studio Arts major graduating May 2026 and serve as a VADC gallery work-study student and have presented my work to TCC’s Board. As an active community artist, I create public art across Hampton Roads—including murals in Norfolk’s NEON District and Virginia Beach’s ViBe District, a court project at Seatack Park, and banners for the Boardwalk Art Show—while also offering free demonstrations and contributing to community projects like an Earth Day mural with Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation.
